From Classroom to Capitol Hill

May 1, 2025

Union Power Cooperative and other electric cooperatives nationwide will come together this June in Washington, D.C., for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) hosts this event annually for high school juniors to come together and have the opportunity to experience the sights of D.C., meet elected officials, and learn more about how they can make a difference as young leaders.

This year, we are proud to send three delegates to represent Union Power at the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour.
