Union Power Charitable Foundation

Union Power Cooperative is proud to announce the establishment of the Union Power Charitable Foundation (UPCF), a new philanthropic initiative dedicated to providing financial assistance to local not-for-profit organizations helping people in our communities. The foundation aims to make a positive and lasting impact by supporting a wide range of community-focused programs and initiatives.

UPCF will focus on key areas including member assistance, nonprofit support, and community development initiatives. The foundation will provide grants to support local nonprofits, enhancing their ability to serve the community effectively.

Since its inception, Union Power Cooperative has been committed to the well-being of its members and the broader community. The creation of the Union Power Charitable Foundation further underscores this commitment, providing a structured and impactful way to support those in need.

How to get involved:

The foundation welcomes the support of individuals, businesses, and organizations who share its commitment to making a positive impact. Whether through partnerships or donations, there are numerous ways to get involved and help achieve the foundation’s mission.

Members of Union Power can contribute to the foundation by by joining the Operation Round Up® program. This program essentially rounds up your monthly bill. Members who want to participate can contact our customer service department at 704-289-3145, visit the member portal, or sign up on our mobile app. All Operation Round Up® funds are held in trust and distributed through the UPCF and will stay in our local communities. These contributions are tax deductible.
